Royal Megansett is looking for a qualified and enthusiastic candidate to work as Responsible Person 20 hrs per week.

Overview:

The primary purpose of this job is to provide floor rest home residents with routine daily assistance, care, and medication administration as may be directed by the Charge Nurse, Supervisor or Director of Nursing.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

* Follow work assignments and/or work schedule in completing and performing assigned tasks
* Perform all assigned tasks in accordance with established polices and procedures and as instructed by supervisors
* Cooperate with interdisciplinary team to assure that nursing services are in place and maintained to meet the needs of the residents
* Create and maintain an atmosphere of warmth, personal interest and positive emphasis as well as a calm environment throughout the unit and shift
* Design and prepare calendar specific for unit to provide and engage residents in one activity per every 4 hours

Requirements

- Ability to work every other weekend
- CNA license
- MAP certification (Medication Administration Program)
- High School Diploma

Schedule

3pm - 8pm
