Royal Braintree is looking for a Part Time Speech Language Pathologist

Overview:

The Speech Language Therapist will provide skilled speech therapy services in the Center consistent with professional standards and policies. To participate in the development of programs necessary to achieve the center's objectives as they relate to patient care.

Job Function:

Completes all documentation required and in accordance with state and federal regulations and policy
Completes all billing required and in accordance with state and federal regulations and policy
Performs patient assessments and evaluations to determine functional level and establish a therapeutic program
Develop a therapy plan of care with the overall plan of care to include goals and discharge plans.
Document, within time frames, observations, patient's response to treatment, treatment programs, degree of progress and notable changes in patient condition per facility guidelines
Communicate and coordinate patient care with members of the patient's health care team
Provide patient caregiver, and family teaching related to the patient's speech therapy program and its maintenance
Provide speech therapy in accordance with physician's orders and accepted professional practices
Other duties as required.

Job Requirement
Master Degree with a Certificate of Clinical Competence from and accredited Speech Therapy program
Minimum of one year of experience in a therapist capacity in a skilled nursing facility
Licensed as a Speech language Pathologist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
