Core Job Responsibilities
- Is flexible and aligns personal scheduling to meet the needs of the Department.
- Leads Department and meets budgetary responsibilities by assuming cooking and meal preparation responsibilities.
- Covers and coordinates coverage for open shifts, as needed.
- Responsible for the successful operation of all aspects of the Dining Services Department.
- Responsible for assuring that the Department meets all local, state, county and federal agency's regulations.
- Develops and/or approves menus in accordance with establishing governing agencies' standards.
- Develops, implements and evaluates an effective quality assurance program.
- Develops policies and procedures addressing all aspects of the Dining Services Department.
- Develops and implements short and long term goals for the Department.
