- Review menus prior to preparation of food.
- Inspect special diet trays to assure that the correct diet is served to the resident.
- Ensure that all dietary procedures are followed in accordance with established policies.
- Assist in establishing food service production line, etc., to assure that meals are prepared on time.
- Process diet changes and new diets as received from Nursing Services.
- Prepare meals in accordance with planned menus.
- Strong and efficient ability in food preparation skills, ServSafe Certification preferred.
- Long Term Care, Hospital Settings or Resorts Experience strongly preferred..
- Knowledge of Local and State Sanitation and safe food handling requirements strongly preferred, including strong preference for ServSafe Certification.
- Must have a "Customer First" attitude. Pleasing residents is top priority. Customer Service skills including phone communication with other departments is essential.
