Royal Megansett Nursing & Retirement Home is the crown jewel of the Royal family and operates an 87 bed licensed skilled living and 9 bed  assisted living  facility that offers an uncommon blend of superior care, a beautiful waterfront location, sensitive personal attention, and dedicated professionals.

Royal Megansett has Full Time Opportunities for Dietary Aides.

Schedule:
Working:
Sunday - Wednesday 11am-7pm
Days Off: Thursdays and Fridays


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:

Assisting in the preparation of food and is responsible for serving meals, snacks, and beverages using portion control and applicable sanitation practices.
Operating the dishwasher and properly stores pots, dishes and utensils.
Following community fire safety, infection control practices and hazardous chemical practices, and uses cleaners and other hazardous materials in accordance to health department procedures.
Keeping the kitchen, dietary equipment, and dining room clean and sanitary at all times, including work areas and floors and according to assignment.
Other duties may be assigned.

Education & Experience:
High School degree or equivalent.
Cooking and/or dishwashing experience in a long-term care setting (Will train candidates who have at least 2 years experience in the Kitchen)
Energetic, enthusiastic, ability to multi-task and make decisions if necessary
Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions, and write at a level necessary to meet job expectations.
Access to reliable transportation
