Morse Pond in Falmouth, MA has an opening for a full-time, day shift Assistant Director of Nursing. (ADON)

The Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) assists in managing the overall operation of nursing department in accordance with facility policies, standards of nursing practices and governmental regulations so as to maintain excellent resident care and to meet resident needs.  In concert with the Director of Nursing (DON), the ADON will assist and support the translation of the nursing philosophy of the facility into nursing practice by participating in the planning, implementation, and evaluation of the nursing care delivery system. Be a part of the team leading the nation in healthcare.

Schedule:

Monday – Friday 7-3 pm
On call rotation every 6 weeks



Education & Experience:

Currently licensed as an RN in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts;
Associate’s Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred. 
3-5 years of experience in nurse leadership in a long-term care setting.
Knowledge of state and federal regulations
Experience with Geriatric Psychiatric population preferred
Must have good communication, organization and coaching skills, CPR certification
