Description
Royal Braintree Nursing & Rehabilitation Center is the largest facility in the Royal family of nursing centers. Royal Braintree Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is conveniently located at the foot of Weymouth Landing where Braintree, Weymouth and Quincy converge, and within easy walking distance of the commuter train.
Royal Braintree is looking for enthusiastic candidates willing to be part of the Dietary Aide Team.
Hours: Part time evenings and weekends
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
•Assisting in the preparation of food and is responsible for serving meals, snacks, and beverages using portion control and applicable sanitation practices.
•Operating the dishwasher and properly stores pots, dishes and utensils.
•Following community fire safety, infection control practices and hazardous chemical practices, and uses cleaners and other hazardous materials in accordance to health department procedures.
•Keeping the kitchen, dietary equipment, and dining room clean and sanitary at all times, including work areas and floors and according to assignment.
•Other duties may be assigned.
Education & Experience:
•High School degree or equivalent.
•Cooking and/or dishwashing experience in a long-term care setting a plus.
•Able to read and understand written and verbal instructions, and write at a level necessary to meet job expectations.
