Description
Royal Health Group is Looking for Admissions LPN/RN for weekends only position. This is a Part time (16hrs) position.
Selected candidate will be working on weekends only.
Our ideal candidate must maintain a professional, patient, cheerful disposition and enthusiastic demeanor with the ability to be creative and flexible along with excellent time management skills to work in a fast-paced environment.
Job Position:
The primary purpose of this position is to obtain required information via Edischarge, Allscripts and 4Next and admit residents in an efficient manner, in accordance with policies and procedures.
Job description:
- Manages the companies inquiry and admission process
- Verify insurance information
- Ensures optimal census
- Communicates as part of the interdisciplinary team (Director of Nursings, Executive Directors, Social Workers)
- Provides facility information and follow-up
- Maintains working relationships with referring community agencies
- Responsible for the preparation and maintenance of admission documentation
- Faxes daily bed availability updates to referring community members.
- Weekend Hospital Screening
Qualifications:
- Three+ years experience in healthcare admissions field.
- Working knowledge of Windows-based software;
- Ability to understand all aspects of the long-term care environment;
- RN/LPN non-expired license of an accredited School on the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
